Project Scope
The project scope involves designing the IFANOW App for the existing B2B and B2C clients, with complete user interface designs created from scratch for both Android and iOS platforms.
The deliverables include high-fidelity screens, user flows, and interactive prototypes developed in Figma, focusing on usability, clarity, and efficiency for internal users.
Additionally, the project requires adherence to brand guidelines and close collaboration with stakeholders such as internal staff, product managers, and developers to ensure successful implementation.
Problem Statements
The primary challenge addressed by the IFANOW App project is the inefficiency and frustration caused by fragmented workflows and outdated interfaces within internal teams.
Current tools do not provide a seamless or intuitive experience, leading to reduced productivity, increased training requirements, and frequent errors during data entry and navigation.
These issues are further compounded by inconsistencies between Android and iOS platforms, making it difficult for users to transition smoothly between devices.
The new design should streamline daily operations, simplify complex tasks, and minimise the potential for mistakes.
Research & Ideation
To kick off the IFANOW App project, we began by conducting thorough research to understand the unique needs and challenges faced by users for purchasing mutual funds and creating financial goals on the app.
This involved a mix of stakeholder interviews, user surveys, and direct observation of daily workflows. By immersing ourselves in the environment and gathering feedback from team members, we were able to identify key pain points such as inefficient navigation, inconsistent experiences across platforms, and time-consuming data entry processes. We also performed a competitive analysis to benchmark industry standards and uncover opportunities for differentiation.
Building on these insights, we moved into the ideation phase, where I facilitated brainstorming sessions and collaborative workshops to generate a wide range of possible solutions. We created sketches and low-fidelity wireframes to quickly visualise ideas and gather early feedback.
Throughout this process, I paid close attention to the distinct requirements of Android and iOS platforms, ensuring that proposed solutions would deliver a seamless and intuitive experience on both.

We managed to design everything in Figma, brainstormed on Figjam and also used Trello for project management. The need of the hour was to build custom illustrations hence we designed all the illustrations from scratch and used them in the project.
Result
→ Over 100,000+ app downloads across iOS and Android platforms, indicating strong user adoption.
→ More than 10,000+ financial goals created by internal users, showcasing increased engagement and streamlined workflows.
→ 1,500+ individual financial advisors enrolled, building a robust and collaborative internal community.
→ Total assets under management facilitated through the app have exceeded ₹80,000+ crore, highlighting substantial business impact.
