Project Scope
The Invideo product design revamp aims to reimagine online video editing by making the platform more intuitive, efficient, and visually engaging. By streamlining workflows and addressing common user frustrations, the redesign will enable users of all experience levels to create professional videos quickly and easily.
Key improvements will include enhanced usability, smarter editing features, and better cross-platform performance. The result will be a more accessible, enjoyable, and empowering video editing experience for everyone.
Problem Statements
Online video editing platforms often suffer from complex interfaces, slow performance, and steep learning curves, making it difficult for users to create quality content efficiently. Invideo’s redesign tackles these challenges by focusing on usability, speed, and accessibility, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable editing experience for all.

Research & Ideation
Our research and ideation phase was a collaborative effort, combining user interviews, competitor analysis, and hands-on workshops to uncover real pain points and opportunities. Working closely as a team, we translated these insights into actionable ideas, setting a strong foundation for a user-focused and innovative redesign.

Zeplin
We used tools like Figma and Figjam for everything. Usually design handovers were done via Zeplin as well. Other tools like After Effects were used mostly for minor interactions.
Result
There is much much more to this project, I have still not showcased the UX side of things - such as wireframes, brainstorming, user journeys, use cases and information architecture.
This project is a team effort and a lot of credit goes to the ux designers, product managers, ui designers , developers and stakeholders overall.
→ The redesign of Invideo delivered measurable improvements across key business metrics.
→ Editor 2.0 was a game changer with the video timeline integrated and also stock content for users.
→ Dark and Light mode UI design with a flexible design system in place.
→ Improved landing page metrics and signups overall.
